CINED is a specialized institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), established in 2009 for education and development of professional groups and disadvantaged sections in the society. By utilizing electronic, print and community media and technology, CINED is developing innovative literacy and lifelong learning programmes and prints, audio-visual and digital contents especially for non-formal education sub-sector. CINED has national and international recognition for its IEC materials. This center is designing and organizing national and international training programmes, workshops, conferences and exchange programmes. CINED is implementing training programmes for organizational capacity building and quality programme implementation. CINED is developing Open Educational Resources (OER) and promoting flexible and blended (FaB) model of TVSD in Bangladesh. CINED Media House is developing video documentary, issue based films, TV serial and motivational audio songs. CINED has established "Bangladesh Learning Resource Center (BLRC)" a repository of education, skills training and lifelong learning documents and materials in Bangladesh. CINED has developed 200 e-books to address learning difficulties of early grade students in Bangladesh.This center is providing consultancy services at the national and international level.

Among CINED's associated entities "Ahsania Mission Children City" is providing long term comprehensive institutional support to the vulnerable street children of Bangladesh. This programme is gradually expending its services to 10,000 street children by establishing 10 children villages. "Bangladesh Literacy Association" (BLA) a National Affiliate of International Literacy Association (ILA) of USA, the biggest teacher's network and teacher's capacity building platform in Bangladesh. "Center for Multilingual Interpretation Services and Languages Training" is facilitating multilingual communication through simultaneous interpretation and translation services on some of the most demanded / spoken foreign languages i.e. Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Japanese and Russian.
