DAM is the largest materials development organization in Bangladesh and well known for its quality IEC/ BCC materials both nationally and internationally. About 700 titles of materials has so far been published which covers primers, teachers' guide and training manuals for pre-primary, primary, working children, adolescent and adults as well as supplementary, post literacy and continuing education materials. An expert team of highly qualified professionals are developing materials using a wide range of attractive formats such as booklet, poster, folder, leaflet, sticker, card, ludu, puzzle, flip chart, desk calendar, pocket calendar, diary, manual, audio cassettes, videos materials and digital contents. DAM materials are being used widely in Bangladesh for literacy, awareness and social mobilization programmes. Major characteristics of DAM materials are gender sensitive, need based, graded, easy to understand, attractive, illustrative and low cost. Several materials of DAM have received national and international awards.
